Whatever Albemarle

Not necessarily daily, but frequently you will find new posts to the BLOG on my Whatever Albemarle website. My blogposts are commentaries on things I observe going on in Albemarle County, Virginia — much of it related to government. I've lived in Albemarle for 30 years as of 2016 and spent 13 of them as a news reporter, 9 in radio and 4 in weekly newspaper. I've been retired since I turned 62 in 2011. I was also an elected School Board member for 4 years and have served as an appointee to an area aging agency, a public library board, and a county police advisory committee. I consider myself a fiscal conservative and a social moderate. My technology skills and website technical knowledge are very limited, so any free help to improve what you find on or in my Whatever Albemarle pages would be very welcome.
